The Yorkshire Terrier Stonegate York

The Yorkshire Terrier pub first opened its doors in the winter of 2004 and is the latest of the York Brewery pubs to open in the city in the wonderful historic street of Stonegate. A very warm and welcoming pub, the Terrier has a fine range of around nine York Brewery (Centurion Ghost Ale, Yorkshire Terrier, Guzzler and Stonewall) and guest ales, very well kept and looked after. Also during the summer months you can find some of the finest hand pulled ciders.

Music and Pub Quiz

Entertainment comes in the form of a regular quiz night and live bands (although given the size of the pub, the live acts will usually be no more bigger than two people)

Food is available from 12pm to 4pm with a fine range of traditional pub favourites at reasonable prices.

York Brewery Gift Shop

The pub itself can easily be missed when you’re walking down Stonegate, so look out for the York Brewery Gift Shop as the pub is situated behind this. The gift shop itself offers a range of York Brewery memorabilia, t-shirt and gift sets including a selection of beers specially boxed up.
