Evil Eye Lounge York
It has to be said that the Evil Eye Lounge on Stonegate is 'the' coolest place to hangout. With the likes of nearby Yorkshire Terrier, the Olde Starre Inne and the Punchbowl giving the best in the classic British pub, the Evil Eye gives a whole different experience.
Internet Cafe
The Evil Eye started out as more of an internet cafe, but headed more into a bar although the internet is still available. Just how cool is this place?? Well it is rumoured that Johnny Depp stopped by for a drink during the filming of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as the likes of Ross Noble and maybe the not so cool Alan Shearer.
Food and Drink
The food menu is as far removed from a classic pub lunch with many oriental and eastern dishes freshly made such as Vietnamese Lemongrass Chicken, Mok Kong Noi Special which is a beautiful dish consisting of a choice of meat fried in fresh Laos spices. A huge range of wines are available to enjoy with your meal
You will find a fine array of spirits and bottled lagers and beers from around the world as well as a comprehensive cocktail menu which are proving to be very popular.
Be warned though that this bar is so popular, during the weekend you may find quite a queue to get in. But the wait is worth it
